Draining Water from the Pool

‚Äč

  1. When water needs to be drained from pool, the selector valve must be set to: Waste.

  2. Never drain water from the pool in anticipation of a large rain storm.  Never drain water from the pool during a large rain storm.  Never drain water from the pool sooner than 24 hours after a large rain storm.

Draining any water from your pool when the ground is saturated can float and destroy your liner.  A good place to keep your water level in your pool is the second screw from the top of the skimmer plate where the water goes from the pool to the skimmer.  Don’t drain any lower than this point after a large rain storm.  Having the water higher than this is optimal when the ground is saturated.
